I'm embarrassed to admit that I just realized I never posted a review for this magnificent place. I've been coming to Thumra Thai for over 13 years now and I just noticed I never reviewed them. First the food is wonderful. Cooked with love as if your mom or grandma would cook it for you. Second the ingredients are fresh and healthy. The original owner's daughter revamped the menu after finishing her medical degree at Bastyr University. Third is the feel that you're coming to eat at your family's house not a restaurant. I love that because it shows how much love and effort they put in every dish. Now, I have to adress some of the less than stellar reviews I've read here. If you're looking for a fancy and trendy Thai restaurant where you can take pictures of their thousand of dollars worth of furniture and lightening and enjoy overpriced food and overpriced fancy drinks , this is NOT for you. It is HOWEVER for the people like me who enjoy supporting a small business that has delivered quality food and service for around 20 years to our community. TIP: try the mango sticky rice if it's on the menu and you can never go wrong with the basic staples phad see yew , phad Thai and fried rice for food.
